One-Call Center Specialist

The Call Center Specialist is responsible for connecting resources to fulfill service requests of eligible clients and for responding to requests for information about additional resources.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answer incoming calls from current clients requesting services; demonstrated ability to accurately assess and prioritize service requests
  • Contact volunteers to fill service requests; get to know the volunteer pool and assigns client requests appropriately
  • Assist the One-Call Center Coordinator to assure quality customer service and the fulfillment of service requests
  • Co manage the Medical Alert Program
  • Assist with Volunteer recruitment activities
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry of client/volunteer info into VVCC database system
  • Assist with training One-Call Center volunteer
  • Provide resources and referrals to callers

Required experience:
Customer Service: 5 years
Computer Skills: 5 years
Organizational Skills: 5 years

Required license or certification:
Drivers License

Required education:
High school or equivalent
